Viral cyclist, Emmanuel Myam also known as Emmiwuks in a recent statement discloses why he rejected singer Davido’s money.
A few days ago, there was a report that a determined and passionate fan embarked on a bicycle journey from Benue to Lagos to visit his idol, Davido.
Davido told the young fan, who was already on a road trip to meet him, to turn back as he is currently not at home.
The young man ignored Davido, insisting he wouldn’t give up until he met the singer. He mentioned having a special gift to personally present to Davido.
However, singer Davido, knowing full well that the cyclist is not ready to stop, had to request the cyclist’s account number and instruct him to go home and await his return.
In a recent interview with Legit.ng, the young man revealed the peculiar reason for declining Davido’s money.
The cyclist disclosed that money wasn’t his motivation for embarking on the risky adventure. However, he remained open to the singer personally blessing him if they wished to do so. He stated:
“I didn’t drop it(his account details on Twitter as Davido asked) because my only intention is to meet him and give him my gift. If he chooses to bless me, that’s up to him. The main reason for this is not the money, but the opportunity to finally see him, which I’ve been yearning for.”
